Lampwisp is a puzzle game for iPhone and Android made by Alberto Clemente ("we"). This page explains what data the game uses, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

What stays on your phone

Your progress (the nights you have played, your moons, fireflies and settings) is saved on your device. You do not need an account, and we do not collect your name, email address or contacts. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Advertising

Lampwisp is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: a small banner under the board, an occasional full-screen ad between nights, and video ads you choose to watch for a reward. To show and measure ads, Google may use your device's advertising identifier, your IP address and information about the ads shown.

• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before any personalised ads, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings › Ad privacy choices.
• On iPhone, the game asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you say no, ads are not personalised with your advertising identifier.
• You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your phone's settings.

The game is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect data from them.

Purchases

You can buy "Lampwisp Complete" to remove the banner and the ads between nights. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm and restore purchases. It receives a random app user id, your purchase receipts and basic device information.

Crash reports and usage statistics

With your consent, the game may send crash reports (Sentry) and anonymous gameplay statistics, such as which nights are won or lost (PostHog), so we can fix problems and tune the game. These use a random id kept on your phone, never your name, and are not used for advertising. Without your consent, nothing is sent.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to or withdraw consent for its use. Because we do not hold an account for you, most data lives on your phone or with the services above. Write to us and we will help, including with a request to Google or RevenueCat.
